The Whitman Vikings traveled to Quince Orchard and defeated the Cougars 44-31.
A slow first quarter was difficult to overcome as the Vikings jumped out to a 16-4 first quarter lead. Whitman would eventually lead 19-4 before QO started the rally in the second part of the second quarter. Eventually the Cougars would cut the lead to 23-17 at halftime.
QO could get no closer than four points as the third quarter ended in a 10-10 stalemate giving Whitman the 33-27 lead entering the fourth.
Quince Orchard was led by junior Destini Kelly’s nine points and four rebounds. Senior Maggie Regan added nine rebounds, freshman Anaya Badmus chipped in seven points, and freshman Tatiana Popa added six points and five rebounds.
