Registration for the Spring Virtual Season opens on Tuesday 11/24, please register via the Google Form or use this one in Spanish https://forms.gle/FDqaUC7nzTfcVnRo9 and see the full detailed information from QO Athletics below.  The spring virtual season will start on December 14th and end on January 22nd. Please reach out to Mr. Rabberman and the coaches listed below to get more information.  Additional details can be found on the MCPS Athletics COVID-19 Information pages.

The high school interscholastic athletics virtual program is available to all students at the high school level – no cuts. The high school virtual athletics season consists of a minimum of three student-athlete and coach engagement sessions per week (corollary sports will meet two times per week), over the course of five weeks. Coaches may schedule engagement sessions beginning 15 minutes post school/duty day until 9 p.m. and from 9 a.m. – 3 p.m. on Saturdays. With principal (or designee) approval, engagement sessions may be conducted outside of these windows of time. The winter virtual season is scheduled to occur between December 14th, 2020 – January 22nd, 2021. All students participating in the fall virtual season, as part of the MCPS interscholastic athletics program, must complete the online registration process. Registration is done electronically through the Quince Orchard HS Athletics Registration form .  Students and parents/guardians who have difficulty with registration should contact the QO Athletic Director at Jeffrey_L_Rabberman@mcpsmd.org.

Students must have a valid physical on file with the school. Given the unprecedented circumstances, for students who are unable to secure an updated physical, MCPS will extend the expiration date of an existing physical by one calendar year. To the extent a student does not have a physical on file with the school, the student will need to obtain one. Due to the strenuous nature of selected activities, each student is encouraged to consult their physician concerning fitness to participate in the program. During any live engagement, parents/guardians and students must ensure that surroundings are free of obstacles and that an appropriate plan is in place on how to access help in the event of an emergency.
