Favorite Non-Sports Memory: Getting ice cream with the mock trial team after every competition (even when we lost)
Favorite Non-QO Track & Field QO Athletics Memory: Travelling to North Carolina for the Nike Invitational with the cross country team my sophomore year.
Favorite QO Track & Field Memory: My first time qualifying for states at the armory as a sophomore. I made the minimum standard on my last attempt and my friends and teammates started cheering for me.
Favorite Event: High Jump
Favorite QO Track & Field Teammate (Why?): Lindsey Faucher; she’s been there with me through it all and I honestly don’t know how I would survive track meets & practices without her. Through Track & Field I met my debate partner and a fellow reality tv fan. I will leave QO Track & Field knowing that I have made a lifelong friend.
Favorite Invitational (Why?): Cassel’s XBC; even though it poured rain for half the meet, I made some truly one-of-a-kind memories with my favorite teammate.
Post-QO Plans: I’ll be attending the University of South Carolina where I’ll be majoring in International Studies and/or Political Science with a possible concentration in National Security. I’m also considering attending law school in the future.
Message to Future Cougars: Leave nothing unsaid or undone. Live with no regrets and cherish every moment. You never know when your time might be cut short.
Motivational Quote: “Ability may get you to the top, but it takes character to keep you there”
