Quince Orchard Questions:
Favorite Class/Subject: Orchestra and Photo
Favorite Teacher: Kirchhoff, Messenger, and Pelkey (in no particular order)
Favorite Non-Sports Memory: I know there are so many times I’ve laughed way too much, and they range from the one video Sarah Mesri and I made in NSL to applauding when Ahmed came to orchestra for the first time in a month.
Favorite Non-QO Track & Field QO Athletics Memory: Going to the football games my sophomore year because I was friends with mostly seniors so I was with them at some games.
Favorite QO Track & Field Memory: Sophomore year regionals, 100h finals and there were 3 other girls in my heat and we all became friends because of that one race and we are all still friends. Our times were also within a second of each other.
Favorite Event: 300 Hurdles
Favorite QO Track & Field Teammate (Why?): Malcom Martin and Nush Gai because we are all hurdle buddies, and we have been through so much together off and on the track. Thank you two for making track amazing.
Favorite Invitational (Why?): Jim Vollmer Invitational because every year we went it was the most fun and has the most memories attached to it. I also got the most “tan”, aka burnt, at that meet.
Post-QO Plans: I plan to earn my masters in Psychology in order to become a talk therapist so I can hopefully make this world a little better.
Message to Future Cougars: Future Cougars, NEVER TAKE ANYTHING FOR GRANTED. Go to those football games, go to that party, get help from a teacher if you need it and don’t let others’ opinions affect your opinion on yourself.
