|PARK SERVICE REQUESTS
We are guests of Gunpowder Falls State Park and the Friends of Jerusalem Mill, a group who has worked tirelessly for many years to restore the mill village and maintain the park grounds. They have asked me to communicate this to you, your athletes and spectators if it pertains to them:
For participants not arriving by bus and parent not staying at the meet: Please drop off participants in the parking circle in front of the Grist Mill/Headquarters.
DO NOT STOP ON, OR ALONGSIDE JERUSALEM OR JERICHO ROAD – This is unsafe.
The following address will take you to the Grist Mill and park in any mapping ap:

Then the athlete should cross Jerusalem Rd via the cross walk from the mill to the black smith shop and proceed to the team areas.
When walking around the village or warming up: Please use the designated crosswalks only when crossing Jerusalem Road. Please respect the guidance of the Harford County Deputy Sheriffs and other volunteers.
Please do not warm up or cooldown along the roads as they do not have shoulders there are many trails and a small field not used for the course that these can be done on.
When nature calls: Please use the available port-a-pots – alongside the Springhouse field Fence behind the General Store as well as behind the starting line.

The Name of the Location is Jerusalem Mill Village. Using other terms in a map search may take to another area of the park.
Team buses will drop off at the main parking lot just inside the park. Our Bus Greeters will meet you and check in your team. Then buses will be parked at two satellite parking areas throughout the meet.
At the end of the meet we ask that you are patient in communicating to your bus driver when you are to be picked up, the parking lot can only accommodate a few buses at the team and vehicular traffic cannot be stopped a lot Jerusalem rd. for buses to load or unload
The only buses that will remain in the lot are mini-buses that a few private schools use for transport.

Parking will be $5.00 per vehicle please communicate this to your team’s parents and spectators as exact change will expedite the parking process.
Also, the Harford County Sheriff’s Department will be present to assistance with the traffic flow through the village during the meet, we as that all spectators follow their directions as well as when crossing Jerusalem rd. to reach the course to do so in designated cross walks

There will be no formal course walk. All teams will be provided a course map, and the course is fully marked for all 5,000 meters. Please address any course questions to a member of the Dulaney coaching staff. Please attached map. Map also be found the bottom of the md.milesplit.com meet page.
A brief coaches meeting will be held at the finish area at 9:45 a.m.

Trash bags will be provided to you at the check in table. Please help us keep the park as clean as possible by making sure your team area is picked up before you depart the meet. Your cooperation is appreciated. Because Maryland State Park Service graciously allows us to host the meet here, we ask that you take your trash bags with you as there is limited means at the park for trash disposal.

Towson Sports Medicine Trainers will be on site throughout the meet, however they are only present for new injuries that occur throughout the races and emergency purposes.
